On Friday in Launceston our Tasmanian team delivered 3 completed greenhouses to schools in the local area.
The schools included Riverside Primary, Invermay Primary and Youngtown Primary.
These are the greenhouses which have been completed by Work for the Dole participants over the last six months. Craig’s’ greenhouse project has been a fantastic project through Phase 1, with some participants remaining after completing their Work for the Dole phase demonstrating how much they enjoyed and engaged with being part of this activity.
It’s also a great way for schools to educate their students about sustainability and recycling, and also to become part of their gardening activities. My Pathway would also like to congratulate Craig on establishing such a fantastic activity, as we believe it embodies everything Work for the Dole should encompass. Yet another example of how Work for the Dole does help build stronger communities.
