Employer of Choice for Gender Equality, My Pathway has been awarded the citation for 2018-2019, for a second consecutive year – by the Australian Government’s Workplace Gender Equality Agency.

The EOCGE citation is designed to encourage, recognise and promote active commitment to achieving gender equality in Australian workplaces.

“We have awarded a record 140 EOCGE citations this year. All of our 2018-19 EOCGE citation holders are at different stages of their gender equality journey, said WGEA Director Libby Lyons at the annual awards in Melbourne, Australia on 25 February.

What unites them is their determination and commitment to achieving workplace gender equality. I congratulate all of these organisations for being agents of change, leading the way forward for other Australian employers to follow.”

The Employer of Choice for Gender Equality citation recognises My Pathway - under parent company Enterprise Management Group - for commitment to gender equality to the healthcare and social services sectors.

“Our organisation is quite diverse with a gender balance of 59% females and 41% males, additionally we take pride of our cultural diversity with 49% Indigenous associates employed, from the Torres Strait Islands to Tasmania, said CEO Paul Synnott.

The citation recognises commitment to gender equality and holds us accountable to the promises we have made to assist all genders thrive at work”.

Trends among this year’s recipients include entrenching organisation-wide flexible work practices, tailored parental leave policies to support use by women and men, programs to increase women in leadership, initiatives to support women to return to work and robust analysis and correction of gender pay gaps.

“We are delighted to report after our yearly analysis that the remuneration gap is now significantly reduced from 5% in 2017, to 1.8% in 2018 (*national figure: 14.1%) - closing the company gap toward zero pay inequality,” My Pathways CEO reported.
